Music is always more fun when children get to make it themselves! At Jean Mayer Preschool, Music Time is one of the activities our children look forward to. From our Bumble Bee and Bee Explorer classes, children are introduced to playing the recorder (pianika) from an early age. Through simple songs and fun practice, they gradually learn how to recognize notes, follow rhythms, and play along with their friends.

Learning to play an instrument is not only about making music. It also helps children develop concentration, coordination, listening skills, memory, and confidence. They learn to follow instructions, practice patiently, and enjoy the process of getting better little by little. 🎡✨

Most importantly, Music Time gives our little learners the chance to express themselves and experience the joy of creating something together. Whether they are practicing a new song, trying to play the right notes, or simply enjoying the music with their friends, every session is a chance to learn, explore, and have fun through music! πŸ’›
