Hygiene Day: Learning About Clean Hands and Germs
EVENTS & CELEBRATION

Our little learners had a fun and educational Hygiene Day at Jean Mayer Preschool! We were excited to welcome Dr. Novita Manurung from Puskesmas Twano, Entrop, who taught the children about the importance of keeping their hands clean and how to wash their hands properly. Through a fun and engaging session, the children learned that something as simple as washing our hands can help keep us healthy and prevent germs from spreading.

The children also had the opportunity to discover how germs can transfer from one place to another through an interactive activity. They learned why we need to be careful about touching different surfaces and why washing our hands at the right time is so important. To make the learning even more exciting, they also got creative by making their own soap using tissue! 🫧🎨 It was wonderful to see them learning about hygiene while having fun, exploring, and getting hands-on with their activities.
Hygiene Day was a great reminder that healthy habits can be introduced from an early age—and learning about them can be lots of fun! 💛 We are happy to see our children becoming more aware of how they can take care of themselves and others through simple everyday habits.
