Getting to Know Indonesia from an Early Age

CLASSROOM STORIES

In our Bee Explorer class (ages 5–6), our little learners are discovering more about Indonesia and what makes us proud to be Indonesian. One of the things they are learning about is the Indonesian flag, as we believe that understanding our identity as Indonesian citizens can begin from an early age.

To make their learning more meaningful, the children created their own Indonesian flag through an art and craft activity. What made us especially proud was seeing how independently they worked—from preparing their materials to creating their flags.

And the learning didn’t stop there! After finishing their work, some of our Bee Explorers showed their kindness by reading books to their friends. It was such a lovely moment to see them learn, create, and care for one another—all in one fun learning experience!
