Did you know that there is always something exciting happening at Jean Mayer Preschool every Tuesday and Thursday? Beyond our regular school activities, students have the opportunity to explore more, develop new skills, and enjoy meaningful learning experiences through our After School Activities (ASA).

We offer two exciting programs: ASA Montessori and ASA English Phonics, each designed to support students' development in different ways.

🌱 ASA Montessori (1:00–2:00 PM)

Our ASA Montessori is open to the public, welcoming students who would like to explore and learn through the Montessori approach.

In this class, students discover that their hands are one of their first tools for learning. Through hands-on activities, they develop sensory and fine motor skills while exploring practical life exercises. These activities encourage students to become more independent, improve their coordination, and build confidence through everyday tasks.

By touching, trying, sorting, and practicing, students learn through direct experiences rather than simply listening to instructions.

📚 ASA English Phonics (12:00–1:00 PM)

Our ASA English Phonics gives students the opportunity to strengthen their early reading and writing skills through a structured learning journey.

Starting from sounds and letters, students gradually progress to words, phrases, and sentences. The learning process follows three levels: Pink Series, Blue Series, and Green Series, allowing students to practice and develop their phonics skills step by step.

Through these activities, students build their confidence in recognizing sounds, blending letters, reading words, and developing their writing skills.

Both programs provide meaningful opportunities for students to practice what they have learned, challenge themselves, and celebrate their progress. It is lovely to see how enthusiastic they are when joining the activities and discovering what they can do!
